I am repairing a small network that was installed with a volume license key
that was revoked. The company bought new licenses and the key update utility took them OK. A genuine check now comes up clean. The problem is the repair install does not like the key, because it is not volume license. I presume there is no way to fix this short of a clean install using the non-volume license media, which means all the settings will get lost? |

Your trying to repair a VL install with VL media and a non VL key? No, not
going to work. You may be able to do a repair using the proper media for the new key. -- ---- Crosspost, do not multipost http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 How to Post http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm _________________________________________________________________________________ "WolfK" <WolfK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3C109223-1FAC-4EC3-AB62-87D01FFD8086@microsoft.com... >I am repairing a small network that was installed with a volume license key > that was revoked.
