Hello,
I just noticed there is no logged-in user name listed on shutdown menu or to switch from log off window.. Click Start button.. just above Turn Off Computer, there is no User name listed.. I dont know how long it's been like that, but what can I do to get it back? Thanks. |

I should say the other params.. XP Home, SP2, PowerToys with Auto Log-On,
so I do get logged on, just the User name does not appear on either the Turn Off Computer menu, or Switch Users Screen. > The user name is checked in Logon, it does not show up on Start menu In case what you want is the pretty username at the top of the Windows XP start menu... http://www.pctools.com/guides/registry/detail/1035/ Set that value to 0. Also make sure you are not using the Classic Start menu. -- Shenan Stanley MS-MVP -- How To Ask Questions The Smart Way http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html |
