Default IE and Limited Access Accounts

I can not access the Internet with Internet Explorer
under a limted account on a Dell Machine. I have two
computers sharing a cable modem. I can access with
limited accounts on the generic machine but not the Dell.
I am NOT using any software form my ISP. When I added the
Dell a year ago I did not have to do anything to access
the Internet. In fact, until a few weeks ago after doing
updates due to the rash of virus warnings on the news
media I could access the Internet with IE on the Dell. I
can still access the Internet with an Administrator
account on the Dell. Other threads spoke of loading the
ISP's software under the Limited Account user to correct
this problem. Thing is there is no ISP software on the
machine and until I did an update on Windows the Limited
Accounts could use IE to access the Internet just fine.
You can still use IE on Limited Accounts to access the
Internet on AOL. The recent update messed up something in
IE Windows XP Pro. Any useful suggestions appreciated
(other than loading software that I don't need or have).
Thanks.
