Default removing user name


can anyone tell me how to remove a user name from the list
that pops up when you are on line and have to put in a
user anme and password to acces a web site

You can try selecting the name and hitting delete on your keyboard. If that
doesn't resolve it you'll need to turn off autocomplete and turn it back on
and note, this will clear all passwords and users. The next time you access
sites which require a user ID and password, you will have to imput manually.

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, select Internet Options, go to the
Content Tab, click AutoComplete, remove the checks from the AutoComplete
options, click ok then once again select them and click ok.
