Default A Secure Password Folder

Hope that someone can help me, while beta testing Vista, I kept asking
Microsoft when giving feedback, to incorporate a 'secure folder' where the
user could keep such stuff as passwords, and anything confidential. I asked
that the folder could be secure by using another password, ie not the one
that the user logs into Vista with. I think that there is something similar
to what I mean used by Linux, although i am not certain how it works. When
you use your log in password, then obviously I realise that all your folders
are supposed to be secure, but I am looking for a 'lockable folder' which is
seperate from the main security to contain passwords etc. Anyone know if
there is such a thing that could be used in Vista??

Get RoboForm. sits in the tray and does exactly what you are asking.
I use portable Roboform that installs on a USB drive.

I use Password Depotby AceBit. It's free for 20 passwords and all
password are stored encrypted. Access to list is just by master password.
