Default Thought I'd found something useful in Vista...

DVD Maker. I've been looking for a good, reliable DVD authoring tool for a
while. Created the DVD with 3 movie clips. Works fine on PC. Put it in
Panasonic DVD player - disk unrecognised. Crap.

I have used Windows DVDMaker to make about 5 DVDs from video clips that I
have downloaded from P2P. All the DVDs that were created all worked
brilliantly in my normal DVD player as well as they did on the PC. Try to
burn the DVD while leaving your PC to do the task as it is very consuming on
the processor. This should solve your little problem.

Are you certain that the Panasonic DVD recognizes the type of DVD that you
are using?

Some can only handle DVD-R but some others can handle both DVD-R and DVD+R.
And so on...

Thanks for the replies. Pani will take DVD-R. Tried Roxio MyDVD and worked
fine but don't want to pay mega-bucks for this as it has very poor reviews.
Not sure hoe to debug this...
