Default When did. . .


Matrox go out of busines? I had their Mystique 2 meg PCI card back when
it (and their millenium card) were the ****. . . I pretty much forgot
about them, , , When and Why did they go away? Thanks

They're not out of business. In fact, I was in a conference call just today
with Matrox (two of their engineers, one product manager, and a marketing
goon). Their core business has definitely shifted though. They mainly deal
with ThinClient solutions (their Epica line) and multi-head displays.

Thanks, , I assumed they were no longer because I didn't see them
anywhere on Newegg.

They're out of the consumer business and now do specialized displays for
medical, scientifc, and other industries.
