Latest Vista updates...BUMMER !!

The two I downloaded and installed today...May 9th...have slowed my
computer down !!
Especially Windows Maul changing screens and the same with Internet
Explorer.
That is an upgrade????//

I have Windows Update set to automatic. This morning, two (KB905866 &
KB931768) were installed for Vista Ultimate making a total of 13, four for
Office 2007, and one for FrontPage 2003. Were the two Vista Hotfixes the
same that you installed? I have been working on the Computer most of the
day with no degridation.

Final question, did you download the fixes from the rogue phishing e-mail
that hit the web a few days ago announcing the May update availability? If
so, that was not and "upgrade."

No, mine were from Microsoft...But, one of the updates was for nVidia
which I questioned.
I have gone back to the Restore Point when they all were installed and
all is well now.

BTW, these updates are on my Vista Home Premium edition.
