Hello. I am going to modernize my old computer (better to say to buy a new
one). Of course I am planing to buy VISTA Ultimate but which version - 32 or 64. I use Office 2007, Microsoft Money 2007 Delux, VinZip, GetRight. I am not the player but I like to play some games from time to time. -- JerzyMarian |

Forget the 64-bit version unless you either need to support more then 4gb of
memory, or you are using programs that are written specifically to run in 64-bit Windows. There is no real advantage in using the 64-bit version except for these special cases, and a real risk that drivers you need will not be available. -- Richard G. Keep in mind as well that the retail box will come with both versions. If
you ever decide to switch, you already have the disk and product key. It will require a new, clean install, but it will always be there if you want to try it. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "JerzyMarian" <jerzymarian@discussions.microsofrt.com> wrote in message news:8782CC7D-FC97-464C-A2A8-11CD7EB3FEF7@microsoft.com... > Thank you Richard. there are problems with 64 bit and drivers.
but I like it because of the extra security it provides over 32 bit. by the way there is a zip program built into windows, is there some reason why you need an extra zip program. people have reported problems with both office and money 2007 versions. check with ms kb for any information you may need in advance. mikeyhsd@comcast.net "JerzyMarian" <jerzymarian@discussions.microsofrt.com> wrote in message news:3C50E047-5B3C-4B72-BD01-0D67E30BCF0E@microsoft.com...
