Default I finally ordered some after-market ink, for canon.

For all the friends who helped me in the two other threads regarding
after-market inks for canon 3e: I ordered a set of ProColor from
alotofthings.com. I replaced my genuine canon cartridges one, by one, as
they emptied, with the ProColor cartridges, and I was surprised with the
good quality of this inexpensive aftermarket ink. It looks like the canon,
maybe even better. So, I will order some more. Big savings. They cost
about $2.70/cartridge, and they are nicely packaged, and the service is good
too, so far. Thanks again for all the help
