hi all -
I am working on a class video - I have several different cd's with pictures on them, I need to incorporate them into one project, but as soon as I remove the cd to go to the next one, my pictures disappear - how do I get them to stay there until I am done with the project and able to burn it or post it to the web?? help???? |

Movie Maker needs access to the pictures at all times. Importing them into
your collections doesn't actually copy them anywhere so as soon as you remove the CD Movie Maker loses the pictures. If you are working with images on multiple CD's then you need to copy the images to your harddrive and import them from there instead of from the CD. -- -Wojo MVP - Digital Media Wojo's Web: http://tinyurl.com/ytv9mo "Candy Girl" <Candy Girl@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C29324F1-E98F-449D-B7BA-DD34FDC5F6F1@microsoft.com... > hi all - > I am working on a class video - I have several different cd's with > pictures > on them, I need to incorporate them into one project, but as soon as I > remove > the cd to go to the next one, my pictures disappear - how do I get them to > stay there until I am done with the project and able to burn it or post it > to > the web?? > help???? |

I don't know you, but I love you :-) thanks so much.
Candy I guess at best, you can make cd's but never archive them unless you want to save all the pictures forever. "Wojo" wrote: > Movie Maker needs access to the pictures at all times.
