What a pain in the bloody neck getting that installed ...

I have no idea why, but don't bother trying to download & update from Sun Java dot com ... Vista just would not allow it to install correctly.

However, I have a new "toy" from filehippo ... it is only Beta, but it works well ... Update Checker. Actually, it ain't that new, but I've only just remembered where it is.

It told me I have an update for JRE6 ... so I downloaded it, it happens to be the exact same file as that from Sun, but at least this one works.
