Hi. I do not use Windows Mail for MAIL. Got that configured right. I use
Outlook 2007. But I do use WinMail for Newsgroups/Communities like this one. My question is how do I set the defaul view so I DO NOT see under Local Folders the Inbox Sent Out etc whe I launch WinMail. I want the Local Folders to be compressed and the Microsoft Communities folder to be exploded when I start WinMail. I dont want to have to shrink Local Folders and Expand Communities. Hope thats clear... Rgds |

You can try a shortcut as follows:
"c:\program files\outlook express\WinMail.exe" /outnews or "c:\program files\outlook express\WinMail.exe" /newsonly or "c:\program files\outlook express\WinMail.exe" /news steve "Rod Davies" <ldavies@tpgi.com.au> wrote in message news:CA44B5EE-DFA2-4C71-A94E-247BE94FDA08@microsoft.com... > Hi.
