Default Microsoft mail - vista

i have bought a laptop with vista home premium on. with the microsoft mail i
set it up with my email address the same as would normally do it. Now, i can
recieve e-mails but when i send it Mcafee comes up with a box saying to
verify that i'm on the internet. I know that i am. I don't particullarly
like mcafee but it came on the computer.

any suggestions??

Uninstall McAfee. Its incompatible with Windows Mail (see
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3). There are a number of free or cheap
antivirus products that are much less invasive than it.

Once you do that, remove your mail account, close and reopen WinMail, and
then add your mail account back again.

I suggest downlosding the AVG anti-virus from Grisoft. Its free and one of
the best. I use it with Vista and Windows Mail.
