Default Two Vista accounts sharing one e-mail address?

I've got two Vista accounts (one standard and one administrator) that I want
to share a single e-mail account. I can create e-mail accounts for both
Vista accounts, but they have separate local folders (deep in the AppData
folder) so when I download e-mail from my POP server in one Vista Account, I
can't see it in the other Account. When I move an e-mail to a local folder
in one Vista Account, I can't see it in that local folder in the other Vista
Account.

How can I "point" the second Vista account to the same e-mail local folders
in use by the other Vista Account... any ideas?

Nothing that I would recommend a novice doing, but you would basically have
to move the message stores out of the Users accounts folder. Export the
registry settings from that account then import them into the other account.

You would have to equate the registry entries for both users. Particularly
the Store Root value would have to be in a separate directory outside of
both user profiles. See www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx#wm

And it would have to be a directory that both users have permissions for.

That's why I said a directory outside of both user profiles, and I meant to
imply that.

Thanks...

.... I didn't exactly follow what you wrote, but it told me enough to figure
it out. I didn't create a different directory outside of both user
profiles... I just added permissions to one of the mail stores and then
pointed the other account's Windows' Mail at it. Worked great... with the
exception of having to Login again ever time... which is good enough for me.
I saw your other post on a way to use batch files to overcome this, but I
think I'll stop here. Thanks.
