When we get an email from someone and it has pictures attached (.jbg), and
then we open it, or double click on the attachment, picture viewer comes up. It takes as much as 10+seconds for the picture to become visible. Sometimes during the time it takes to come up it will say the picture viewer is "(not responding)" but then it will eventually come up. In XP I never had this issue or delay. I now have Vista home premium and this confuses me. Is there a fix or some way I can work around this delay. Wayne Olsen wsolsen@verizon.net |

You may want to substitute a different, very versatile FREE image viewer and manipulator, as I did. Irfanview is available via http://irfanview.com Once it's installed, go to Control Panel|DEFAULT programs|CHANGE ASSOCIATIONS...and associate .jpg with I_view32.exe, which is in the Program Files|Irfanview directory (folder). |
