Default web mail

Why can't I send emails from a website using vista windows mail? For
instance, when I'm on a website and it says "send inquiry" or "email us," I
always get an error message saying "Outlook is not your default email and
this email cannot be sent," or something similar.

Go to Default Programs and make sure Windows Mail has
all of its defaults.

Just see if it is checked as a default email? Or is there something else I
need to check?

Did you open Default Programs?
Click the first item: "Set your default programs."
After a few seconds a list of programs comes up.
Click on Windows Mail. To the right you should then see
"This program has all its defaults."
If some other result happens, you can fix it by selecting one
of the two options with green arrows.
