Default Wireless Laser 6000 Mouse...unresponsive

Hi...Anyone know what is wrong with this mouse which sometimes needs about 20
clicks before it responds. Now and then things action on just one click but
most of the time I'm clicking away to get anything at all. It's mighty
annoying !

This seems to be a chronic problem with all the newer Microsoft wireless
mice and keyboards. What helped me a lot was manually running Windows Update
and selecting the optional HID fix. Even with that, I have a week to go to
exchange my Microsoft Deskset for a Logitech.

Bye.

I just fixed this problem myself about an hour ago. I went to best buy and
purchased a logitech mx revolution and pulled the plug on that pos ms 6000.
Last year it was my new ms wireless desktop and now the mouse. I've replaced
both of them with logitech products and the problems are gone. MS will never
sell me anymore hardware. My mouse was locking up 4 out of 5 boots and I
would have to keep on rebooting my system until it was unfrozen.
