Hi,
How far does it boot? Have you tried the safe mode options? What sort of recovery plan did your manufacturer provide? -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "ROCK" <ROCK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:AC86ED50-06EF-4C71-B3EB-41E42FCCCB6F@microsoft.com... > my windows vista system will not boot up i have tryed all i can here and i > have no disk to help with booting up with my system is new and i still > have > my 1 year on it here are some codes 0x0000c1f5 > > please can someone help me? > if you need more info i'll try and get it |

Hi,
As it's new, it will still be under warranty and you should contact HP for assistance. The error code is likely to indicate faulty hardware or a non-compliant BIOS. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "ROCK" <ROCK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FF55E5F3-2CD4-43D1-AD1D-B6C01ECC4A64@microsoft.com... > Hello Rick tkxs 4 your help i have tryed the safe mode options with no > luck > and i have tryed the repair but with not boot pass the problem screen did > the > codes help any? is there more info you need to help me > recovery plan did your manufacturer provide? none i think its a HP > Pavillion > dv 9000 new > > > "Rick Rogers" wrote: > >> Hi, >> >> How far does it boot? >> Have you tried the safe mode options? >> What sort of recovery plan did your manufacturer provide? >> >> -- >> Best of Luck, >> >> Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP >> http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ >> Windows help - www.rickrogers.org >> >> "ROCK" <ROCK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >> news:AC86ED50-06EF-4C71-B3EB-41E42FCCCB6F@microsoft.com... >> > my windows vista system will not boot up i have tryed all i can here >> > and i >> > have no disk to help with booting up with my system is new and i still >> > have >> > my 1 year on it here are some codes 0x0000c1f5 >> > >> > please can someone help me? >> > if you need more info i'll try and get it >> >> |

Hi Rock,
Try the following, which is extracted from the HP user guide on my HP dv9000: You can perform a recovery from the partition on the hard drive from either the Start button or f11. To restore the system from the partition, follow these steps: 1. Access Recovery Manager in either of the following ways: ● Select Start > All Programs > Recovery Manager > Recovery Manager. ● Restart the computer and press f11 while the “Press <F11> for recovery” message is displayed on the screen. Then select Recovery Manager. Recovery Manager opens. 2. Click Advanced Options. 3. Click System recovery, and then click Next. 4. Follow the on-screen instructions. best of luck, Rod "ROCK" <ROCK@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:FF55E5F3-2CD4-43D1-AD1D-B6C01ECC4A64@microsoft.com...
