Default Printing System

Hi,
The cheaper colour laser printers use the Windows host based printing
sytem in XP.
Does Vista use the same system.
I am looking at buying a new colour laser printer and don't want to
repeat the waste of a good printer as I did when my Star laser with the
widows GDI printing system did not migrate to from Win98 to WinXP.

regards bussoguy

Default Re: Printing System

Windows Vista has a new printing "engine" so to speak - it's really hard to
explain, but hopefully this will help a bit.
