It takes several attempts for me to empty the trash, it's taken over an hour
and a half to manually keep telling it to empty the trash over and over and over again until all files deleted... This is really annoying, is there a way that empty trash or 'delete immediately' can delete without repeated manual intervention? |

Aye, you'll need to turn off UAC for this. Many have had troubles with
constant dialogs - hopefully this will cut down on a few: http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome....urity/whatisuac Also, right click on the Recycle Bin > Properties > untick Display delete confirmation box > Global Settings > "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin" > OK > Apply > OK. -- » More information here: www.vistabase.co.uk -- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBLOG Technology News: www.msblog.org » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hey Zack,
Thanks so much, I actually dicovered the UAC switch as I was hunting around... It definitely helped a lot... Now if I can only track down why my network won't auto connect to my wireless network and why it won't connect to the net through my cat 5 router I'll be happy... Darn Radeon 9800 Vista drivers caused me problems, had to force XP drivers for the videocard... Not as fast but at least I can keep testing the software...
