It works fine in XP.
In Vista react the system even not that i have put a cd in the reader. The reader is the same as i have burned it (and read it from XP). By the way. My cd with Norton Internet Security is blocked by Vista. Is it just because Vista knows the program whant work? Here does i get a message who sais that it is blocked and a buttom to give them feedback and to see a reason for the block. |

Are you sure that your CD drive is being recognized by Vista? I'm not
having any problems with my CD drives reading any of my burned CDs. "Shafh" <Shafh@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0653105B-BB69-48A2-B061-349F6904FE4A@microsoft.com... > Any ideers why i cant load my burned cd-r's in Vista. They are burned in > XP > and got just normal files! |

I'm having the same problem. Vista will not autoload any cd burned in XP.
(Same hardware, just did a reinstall with Vista.) Vist does recognize the drive and shows the used and available space on the disk, but treats the cd as a new blank one. very strange and annoying. A fix would be great! "Shafh" wrote: > Any ideers why i cant load my burned cd-r's in Vista. They are burned in XP > and got just normal files! |

I don't have this problem but I've read other posts similar to yours that
tired CDRoller with some luck. Used mostly on disc that used packet writing programs to burn this program might also work. It's worth a try.
