Default Windows Vista and programs to monitor registry, files, etc.

Hello!

In Windows 9x and NT operating systems, I used InstallWatch Pro
(http://www.epsilonsquared.com/installwatch.htm) to compare before and
after system images. I am not sure if this old tool supports Vista. Are
there any changes in Vista for storing information beside registry,
files, and folders/directories)?

Thank you in advance.

That application will probably require Administrative rights. If its a 16
bit application, you might have some issues running it on Vista.

Yeh, but overall the installation structure is still the same. Same
registry, same folder structure (ish), but at least you still have
%programfiles%, %windir% and System32 for regulars.

I'm a developer and tested things like this, including creating my own
installation programs to run and see if they work - they all seem to work
