Hello,
I'm running Vista 64 bit Ultimate on my desktop and my notebook and I have the following question: I downloaded the SP1 Installer for Visual Studio, which is quite large (442 MB executable) and wanted to run it on my machines: - Notebook: no problem - Desktop: When I wanted to start the program (I chose "run as administrator" using right mouse button already), the process is immediately aborted with the message "not enough quota to process this command". I looked this up and none of the quota options is activated. But then a strange thing happened: When I disable account administration (not recommended for security reasons) it works without problems. What could be the reason for this strange behaviour? (My systems are both equipped with 2 GB of RAM and have over 100 GB free disk space left. I did not change anything in the system configuration settings after the installation.) Best regards Marco |

In most cases it was a corrupted/aborted install (for instance with Nero or some AntiVirus software) that leaves a lot of files in the temp folders. Some people are able to cure it by deleting these temp files. Maybe it helps. Greetings G. Born |
