After having had no problems for the first two days of a new machine with
vista, I now find that I cannot run media player unless I right-click and run as administrator. This means that it will not auto run (although it asks me what I would like to do with a disc) when I insert a disc. I am, of course, logged in as an administrator and I am not having this problem with any other program. |

I am having the exact same problem. If I switch to the User account
everything runs fine. If I switch back to my administrator account I have to right click and "run as administrator" to get media player to start. This problem occured after having Vista Home Premium (new, not upgrade) for almost 3 months. Everything runs fine if I turn off UAC, which I don't want to do. I would really appreciate some help.
