Default Deleting a file in System 32...

Hi,

I am trying to replace a file in the system 32 folder, called WSOCK32.dll.
Think mine is corrupted so i need to replace with a fresh copy. However i
cant, it womt let me delete the current one, or in fact any file in that
folder.

I go throught the usual new security feature allowing the operation to go
ahead but then i get the error... " You need permission to perform this
action".

I am the only user on the computer and i am administrator.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Oh i also tried booting up in safe mode but this made no difference.

Right click the file and edit its security settings
