Help Please - Lost password - not my fault

Help please. I have just spent all week setting up my daughters lap top which
worked fine including her password. Tonight I copied all her files across
from her old PC using an easy link BUT when we try to log on the new one the
password isn’t working so we cant get in. The stupid thing is she didn’t even
have one on the old PC. What can we do?
