Hi,
I'm unable to follow hyoerlinks in Outlook2007 e-mail messages. When I click on a hyperlink, I get and error: "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on your computer. Please contact your system admiistrator". I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium on a single-user PC, so I guess that makes me the SysAdmin, but I heven't a clue of what restriction there might be. This problem has just popped up and I have no idea what I may have done to cause it. Thanks |

Hi Myweb,
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm afraid that didn't help. cwnidog "Myweb" wrote: > Hello cwnidog, > > Maybe this helps you: > http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/o...1841931033.aspx > > http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/o...99621033.aspx#4 > > Best regards > > Myweb > Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers > no rights. > > > Hi, > > > > I'm unable to follow hyoerlinks in Outlook2007 e-mail messages. Hi cwnidog,
The error message is misleading in this case, as this is a file/protocol association problem. Follow these steps: Click Start, Default Programs and click "Set program access and computer defaults". Click "Custom", select "Internet Explorer" and click OK. Close and re-open Microsoft Outlook. -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "cwnidog" <cwnidog@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:4713C9FE-603B-4A63-8F1B-D27013D8EE45@microsoft.com...
