Default how to delete windows.old

I keep trying to delete the windows.old files as it is taking up tons of
space. I can't get it to delete. It keeps telling me I don't have sufficient
privledges, but I am the administrator.

I am getting the same error. Because of multiple installs I have a
windows.old and a windows02.old (name?). I was able to delete the second
directory, but am getting the insufficient privledges when trying to delete
windows.old.

Try taking ownershipt of the windows.old folder first and check what
permissions are set on the folder

I simply logged in safe mode, and went straight to windows.old and sent it to
the trash. afterwards, it was taking too long, so i went to the disk clean up
option and emptied the trash can.
