I want to move my personal folder to the location on the other partition
where my old personal folder (the one from XP) is stored, (aka I want to further use my old and beloved one) How can I do this? In XP, it was easy: My files->right-klick->move. Thanks in advance Volker |

Hiya,
I too always keep my data on another partition and I'm surprised MS doesn't highlight this obvious security measure. Anyway, I finally determined that we need to go into the new User's folder and right click each of the individual folders and choose "location'. On that tab you'll see the good old move option. ![]() I hope that helps.
