EVE does not recognize DX10

Eve does not recognize direct X 10. only recognizes it as DX 9. and
compatibility mode also does not work.
Anyone have any ideas???

What you need to do is to edit the registry

Under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders\

in the Shell Folder, you choose "add string", name it Fonts and write
C:\Windows\Fonts.

FYI it runs very poorly using vista drivers and am told that xp drivers work
much better

Thanks all. I got it to run but also had to run it as administrator. even
though the login i used had admin privileges
