Synchronisation

Using setting New Messages only (Headers & Bodies) but seeming only
getting only Headers. Select Edit, Select All and Download Message
Later. Synchronise but marked message do not download! Why is this?

Whilst Online selecting any message header does download the body so
why can't you just synchronise and go offline to read?
