I have uninstalled the previous version ad deleted the temp files from Local
Settings. I have then installed the latest build and synchronised my mail. All the messages have been downloaded to my Local Settings folders again and the client shows new mail counts in bold in the folder tree BUT there is no mail at all in the other two panes and so nothing for me to view. Any ideas? |

Is this Outlook express 6 or Windows Mail? if it's outlook Express 6 you
should direct your questions to this newsgroup: microsoft.public.windows.internetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress if this is actually a Windows Mail question, can you please tell me what build you are running, and what type of machine you are running this on (x86/amd64)? This is where the help menu sends us. Sorry.
Here is the solution: Workaround: make sure WLMDB is closed open regedit and go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail Desktop Beta delete “Rules” sub key restart WLMDB "Andre Da Costa" wrote: > Steve Cochran wrote: > This NG is for Windows Vista Windows Mail. Then you need to bug the help menu, because this is a public forum and not
meant for dicussion of beta issues in WLMDB. You should be provided with beta NGs for such discussions. steve "Duane" <Duane@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:A93DDD8A-9AC2-43CD-BEFF-809BF3DF8A6F@microsoft.com... > This is where the help menu sends us. Okay, I've been told that since there is no other NG, this one at the moment
is also for WLMDB issues. I stand corrected. steve "Steve Cochran" <scochran@oehelp.com> wrote in message news:B7949A1E-2977-4EA0-94E7-B6239B60699C@microsoft.com... > Then you need to bug the help menu, because this is a public forum and not > meant for dicussion of beta issues in WLMDB.
