No, actually WLMD will fully integrate with WLM Contacts, WLM Calendar and
much more. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Shell/User, Security), Aumha.org VSOP, DTS-L.org Nicholas wrote: > It seems like Windows Live Mail Desktop will break integration with > Windows Contacts and Windows Calendar... > > "Bryan Starbuck" <BryanSt@microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:OCKrHeOPGHA.2604@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl... > We have officially announced Windows Live Mail Desktop, which is an > email client based on Windows Vista's Windows Mail that will be part of > Windows Live. Great! But...
does this imply Windows Mail will not support Windows Live Mail? The need for Windows Live Mail Desktop seem to imply so... If so, they should do this in Windows Mail and not in a separate program. It just makes me feel that MS is going for more Windows Live names... P.S. ummm since the majority of users don't have a POP3 or IMAP e-mail account, explain the uses of Windows Mail? or would it just becomes yet another MS redundant product...? How do you figure that? I would say that the opposite is true, as the vast
majority of ISPs (certainly in the UK anyway) POP3 email as a standard, and GMAIL supports the use of POP3 too. -- </Slugsie> <Nicholas> wrote in message news:%23rcqX5dPGHA.2300@TK2MSFTNGP15.phx.gbl... > > P.S. ummm since the majority of users don't have a POP3 or IMAP e-mail > account, explain the uses of Windows Mail? or would it just becomes yet > another MS redundant product...? > |

Windows Live Mail Desktop and Windows Mail will, supposedly, coexist in

StarFerret said she'd rather not have to wait a few months. She's a greedy
