Default Cannot Connect to Network $ Shares

Just installed Vista Beta 2 Ultimate on a Dell Optiplex GX 270. Was able to
get everything working, join it to the domain and can connect to almost every
share on the network. Almost that is. Any share that is for example
\\Fileserver\office$ will not connect, even if the permission is set to allow
that user. I can connect to Anything that I have permissions to except the $
Shares. Anyone have an Idea? I have searched high and low on this and can
find nothing, and have posted to a few other sites as well looking for a fix.

Ok, Server service is set to Automatic and Started,
Workstation service is also set to automatic and started.
Computer Browser is set to Automatic, but not started. When I start it, it
gives a message saying that it is stopped automatically when not in use.
Still can not connect to $ Shares on the network.

Additional Info-
I can connect to like \\MachineName\C$ with the same account. Seems to only
affect secure ($) named shares.

The only way I could restore mine was to use the administrator account.

So, I had to login to Vista in safe mode, add a password to the built-in
administrator account and then re-make my mappings using the admin login.

I hope that helps.
