Downloads Hang at 99%
I wonder why my downloads hang at 99% and never finish that last 1%?

Is this downloads from a network share ?
If it is download from internet etc, posting in client.networking or tcpip newsgroup might help. I had one sit at 99% for a long time, but it did eventually finish. I do the
big ones from MSDN library as overnighters now because they can take forever. Even with decent bandwidth. |

Do you have Defender installed? If so it is likely Defender checking it

Default install of Vista does install Defender. I don't have the same

I don't why this is happening.
I have switched to firefox for all my downloads.
