Default Build 5384 (Beta 2) explorer.exe CPU utilisation and memory creep

I've just installed beta 2 on an Acer Travelmate 8200WLMi laptop and the CPU
utilisation of explorer.exe is at about 80%.

The memory utilisation has gone up from 80MB to 158MB in about half an hour...

most common causes for cpu is indexing and windows defender.
you can disable indexing service .
you can stop defender.

Well... it's not too bad, but if you have more than about 5 gadgets running,
I noticed the I/O shoot way up.
