UMAX 3400 on Vista, anyone get it to work?

Hello,

I tried installing VistaScan 3.75 but it doesn't see the scanner. I still
have the upgrade for XP to install, but in the meantime, has anyone been
successful with this scanner in Vista, and if so, how?

It doesn't look like UMAX even knows Vista exists yet, so I'm guessing they
aren't doing anything for Vista anytime soon.

Dave (and others),

I too am unable to interface a UMAX VistaScan with Microsoft Vista. After
communicating with UMAX Customer Service, I walked away with the believe UMAX
was either being very quiet about this or simply didn't care.

I will continue to watch the Newsgroups and Forums for a UMAX follow-up.

Hi

I have the same problem with my UMAX 2200 USB. UMAX did not even bother
to provide MacOS X drivers so i would not expect any Windows Vista
drivers ever.
