How well is your machine protected from malware? Your Explorer problem is
most often caused by trojans or spyware. It could also be caused by some of the (legitimate) software installed by your computer supplier. We need more details: computer brand and model, OS version and update status... -- Pierre Szwarc Paris, France PGP key ID 0x75B5779B ------------------------------------------------ Multitasking: Reading in the bathroom ! ------------------------------------------------ "btbxer" <u21043@uwe> a écrit dans le message de news: 5f0ab79439579@uwe... | btbxer wrote: | >Hi! everyone I don't know much about computers and I am having a problem with | >mine everytime I turn on my speakers to leasten to music or anything I hear a | >tictac sound I know that the speakers are in good condition and the cables | >are ok, my computer has windows xp pro sp2 and I don't have any cds or any | >info of the hardware it has installed. Turn up the Volume control, turn down the "Wave" control a bit, and then
mute any others - that should sort it ;o) -- Zack Whittaker » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: www.msblog.org » Vista Knowledge Base: www.vistabase.co.uk » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights. AFAIK, the SBC Yahoo "online protection" only applies to e-mail. If you surf
to sites with hostile scripts, or download files with malware, you're not protected. You need an antivirus, an anti-spyware, and preferably a better firewall than the Windows built-in one. Meanwhile, you can scan your machine online at the House Call site: http://housecall.antivirus.com You should also download and install the free anti-spyware scanners SpyBot (http://www.spybot.info) and Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com), keep them up-to-date, and use them regularly. -- Pierre Szwarc Paris, France PGP key ID 0x75B5779B ------------------------------------------------ Multitasking: Reading in the bathroom ! ------------------------------------------------ "btbxer via WindowsKB.com" <u21043@uwe> a écrit dans le message de news: 5f15d1370fae9@uwe... | Hi!
