Hi.
I am playing around with Windows Vista Beta 2 b5308 since I just installed it today. I have no network due to lack of network driver according to Device Manager. Ethernet Controller shows a yellow "!". Where can I get the driver from? According to Windows XP, it uses a Yukon Marvell network driver. I have not found a Vista driver on the Internet. I also do not have the original CD/disks that came with this motherboard/computer. Thank you in advance. ![]() -- Phillip Pi Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst ISP/Symantec Online Services Symantec Corporation www.symantec.com ----------------------------------------------------- Email: phillip_pi@symantec.comSYMC (remove SYMC to reply by e-mail) ----------------------------------------------------- Please do NOT e-mail me for technical support. I have the same network card. It might be worth trying the 64 bit XP
drivers that are available, but there is no guarantee that they will work. I don't think the Vista drivers have been released yet. |

Forgot to say that I'm not testing Vista myself as yet.

You could try using the Windows XP driver or check the manufacturers website
for available drivers or beta drivers that currently support Windows Vista. At least get in touch with the manufacturer to make them aware of the issue. -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta "Phillip Pi" <phillip_pi@symantec.comSYMC> wrote in message news:uRh1zNxQGHA.4608@tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... > Hi. > > I am playing around with Windows Vista Beta 2 b5308 since I just installed > it today. Uh, where are those 64-bit XP drivers at? Remember, I don't have the original motherboard CDs/disks. -- Phillip Pi Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst ISP/Symantec Online Services Symantec Corporation www.symantec.com ----------------------------------------------------- Email: phillip_pi@symantec.comSYMC (remove SYMC to reply by e-mail) ----------------------------------------------------- Please do NOT e-mail me for technical support.
