This biometric device does not work in Windows Vista.
The driver from DigitalPersona, Inc is automatically installed by Vista and the reader can be viewed in the device manager. But it does not light on and the installation of the software cancels because it only matches with Windows XPSP2. Does somebody know if and when MS will upgrade this device ? Thanks Merzhin Brittany - France |

All the drivers and stuff will be sorted out by the time RTM happens. Don't
worry - the Fingerprint Reader has been quite a hit for Microsoft - they're not going to ditch a security product for a secure OS now are they? p-- Zack Whittaker Microsoft Beta (Windows Server R2 Beta Mentor) » ZackNET Enterprises: www.zacknet.co.uk » MSBlog on ResDev: http://msblog.resdev.net » ZackNET Forum: www.zacknet.co.uk/forum » VistaBase: www.zacknet.co.uk/vistabase » This mailing is provided "as is" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
