Hello Devon,
Can you try hitting Shift-F10 keys?
This should open a CMD prompt.
Can you capture the setupact.log file?
It may be in the $windows.~bt\panther folder or in the \windows\panther
folder
Depends on where in setup it was.
Compress it and send to me. ( remove online from the address)
How much data was on the drive?
How big was the drive?
How much free space on the drive?
How many applications were on the drive?
All these things can affect an upgrade.
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

Hello Devon,
I got the log file.
The time referenced in the log is 11:37
Are there any entries post that now in the log file?
Trying to see if setup is progressing or just sitting there.
It appears to be progresssing from the log file although slowly.
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

Hello Devon,
So it reboots at that point and rolls back? I missed that part of the
issue, I thought it was just stopping there and giving no indication of
progress.
The fact that it rolls back means I need to look for fatal errors rather
than tasks that were taking large amounts of time
Thanks,
Darrell Gorter[MSFT]

No, it doesn't auto roll back. After 12 hours of looking at the Completing
Upgrade screen, I just power it off and back on, then it rolls back. Is it
really just processing slow? Should I leave it for another 12 hours?
