Hello,
I installed Vista in a mulitboot configuration. Now I want do config the bootmanager. But I do not know how to do this. I thougt you could edit the configuration with BCDEDIT.exe (...\Windows\system32\) But it is not possible. I want that my old OS (winXP) is selected, and that the time you are able to choose the OS is less than 30 seconds and later I want to install an very old OS which will not have a bootmanager. So I need to know how to config the bootmanager. Thanks Christian |

Right click My Computer, Properties, Advanced and under Startup section

BCDedit is not very user friendly. Download VistaBootPro
(www.vistabootpro.org) This is a lot more user friendly. Click on the Manage OS Entries to make the chnages you need. -- John Barnett MVP Associate Expert http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org http://vistasupport.mvps.org The information in this mail/post is supplied "as is".
