Default installing on second HD

My computer has two HDs. One has Win XP home SP2 on it and the other is used
for storage. I want to install Vista on the second HD, But I have a few
questions on how to do it. When I install Vista will it offer the option to
which HD I want to install it on? I've seen and read some on VistaBootPro
program, would that have to be installed before I try installing Vista? would
it have to be installed On the HD where XP is installed or the Hd where vista
is going.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Dan

Default Re: installing on second HD

I have done what you want to do. I just booted from the Vista DVD and
selected what drive I wanted it to install on, No problems what so ever.
Vista boot Pro. I used it to change the boot order after Vista had
installed, But you do not need it before.
