Default windows vista does not open

I down loaded Vista rc1. the short cut does not open program. The dowm load
took 11.00 hours. I have since ordered the disk but I would to know the down
load did not work.

The file that you downloaded is an .iso image file that needs burning to
DVD. Use the 'burn image' function in your burning software. Burn at low
speed and finalize the disc.

I know the conventional recommendation is to burn at as slow
a speed possible, but after I downloaded my copies of build
5728 I burned each at 16x and had absolutely no errors. I
think the critical element is to ensure you have a valid
..ISO by comparing the posted MD5 or SHA1 hash checksum
against one generated on you own computer on the downloaded
..ISO.
