Default Trouble with one site

I have one web site that takes an unusually long time to open ... usually
over 10 or 15 minutes. I see a message in the bottom of IE that tells me
"Connecting to site 161.215.19.148" as the green bar slowly progresses. As
I said, it takes forever. Then, when I get to the initial login page, that
one takes so long that it sometimes never lets me into the site. It's
completely unusable.

I don't have any problem with any other IP address and they open very
quickly. Any clues or tips for me?

TIA,

Tom

Contact the site operators and inform them of the long wait for visitors?

Some things:

-Clear one's own browser cache
-Visit at a time of day the 'Net is not so busy
-Inform the webmaster .. it could very easily be an issue with the web
servers

turn off the phishing filter and see if it makes a difference.

I meant say that I can get into this site in just a few seconds at any time
of day or night from my wife's computer and other computers. It is
definitely something on my machine.

But, here is something else pretty interesting. I did not receive my
original message after I posted it but I saw the replies from you and from
Mikeyhsd. How can that happen? It is not in the Junk Mail folder.

Try downloading KB928089 32 Bit >

or try downloading 64 Bit K928089 >
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...&DisplayLang=en

and see if that fixes your problem, hope this helps, Just FYI.
