Default failed install of adobe -- help!

hey-

i'm trying to install adobe reader from their site...and it downloads...gets
to the end of the install and says

"the temp folder is on a drive that is full or inaccessible. Free up space
on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the temp folder."

i disabled user access control to get rid of those annoying permission
messages...everything else downloads and installs that ive tried so far.
any ideas?!? thanks

Joe

adobe installation failed because you're a STUPID user disabled UAC.
TURN ON UAC and don't be stupid!
