Default Anyone else having trouble with their handhelds and Vista??

My new computer w/Vista won't let my Palm Z22 (small but just what I need)
upload to the calender and contacts. I uninstalled my Palm software three
times, thinking it didn't install properly but that's not it.

I have two laptops and another desktop all with XP and have never had a
problem with my Palm. I really liked XP, I miss the interface and am not
having fun learning Vista.

Is there a setting I could check or something else to try?

Hello there. I did see that article, thank you though. If it's supposed to
work is there a setting in Vista that I may be missing?

Hi I use the Treo 650 and I was able to make it sync with Vista by switching
to XP compatibility mode. Close it out from the task bar then right-click on
the icon/properties/compatibility and put a checkmark next to the Windows XP
box then restart the HotSync manager

You are welcome I am glad I was able to help... I know how frustrating it
was.
I even called Palm tech support at first and was told that there was no way
to fix this!

At the Palm forums it's almost like Palm has never seen Vista. Thank you
again, I'm just so glad it's working.

<sigh> Me again. So, all of my appointments are there on my desktop now
just the way I entered them, in catagories. But, now on my Palm, the
catagories are showing up as <unfiled>. Pooh, I thought I had it.

If I have to use it like this I will but can't help wondering if there is so
a something else I can do to fix that?

Here is last sync log:

Have a Palm Tungsten E (old by 2 years!) and it's ok. Went to their site and
got some software, and it's all good. Only the apps install function doesn,t
work, but calendar etc work fine.

Hi, Dan, thanks. I'll check the Palm website for a patch.
