Contacts Gadget Will Not Go Away?

I have uninstalled my contacts gadget and it will not go away. I cannot
close it, cannot remove it and cannot get rid of it. Can anyone help?

Is it stuck when you restart? Are you talking about the contacts gadeget
that comes with Vista? You could try to delete the files associated with it.

c:\program files\windows sidebar\gadgets

Delete Contacts.Gadget to get rid of the contacts gadget.

If you mean a 3rd party gadget,

c:\users\%user profile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets
