someone said a 'family license" could be purchased to put vista on 2
computers?

if so where do we get it?

You might hold off until Microsoft is capable of issuing valid license
keys for the additional two licenses:

I bought one Friday and it worked fine. The problem is resolved.

OK -- excellent -- I hadn't seen a follow up in reports. It is a
pretty decent deal (as long as you have the hardware to support it).

Then again, for children in house, one should take extra efforts to
reduce threats -- my recommendation to families who ask me about
computers for kids -- notwithstanding the American sense of
entitlement, privacy on computers for kids is a perilous thing.
